This air fryer Turkish bread pizza takes homemade pizza to another level. The Turkish bread base crisps up beautifully in the air fryer, giving a satisfying crunch while staying soft and pillowy underneath. Topped with gooey melted cheese, vibrant sauce, and your favourite toppings, it’s quick, fun, and full of flavour. Perfect for a family-friendly snack or a speedy weeknight dinner, the Turkish bread adds a texture and depth that makes this pizza feel extra special.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 6-8 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients
2 Turkish bread rounds (or 1 large, halved)
4 tbsp tomato pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup cooked toppings of your choice (pepperoni, cooked chicken, mushrooms, capsicum, olives, spinach, etc.)
1 tsp dried oregano or mixed Italian herbs
Method
Slice the Turkish bread in half if needed and lightly brush the cut side with olive oil.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over each bread base.
Sprinkle over the shredded mozzarella and arrange your chosen toppings evenly.
Season with dried herbs and a little extra black pepper if desired.
Place the pizzas in the air fryer basket (may need to do one at a time depending on size) and cook at 180 °C for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the edges of the bread are golden and crisp.
Remove carefully and enjoy while still hot!
