Roasted Chickpeas 4 ways + some Snackspiration

These roasted chickpeas are a perfect healthy snack to satisfy your afternoon cravings and super easy to make!



Serves: 2 - 3

Ready in: 30 mins


Base Ingredients

  • 1 400g can chickpeas

  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Spice combinations

  • 1 tsp sugar / 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika / 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp turmeric / 1/2 tsp ginger

  • 1 lemon juice and zest/ 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt


Method


Step 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper or spray lightly with olive oil


Step 2. Drain and rinse chickpeas with water and pat dry


Step 3. Add chickpeas to lined baking tray spreading evenly and add olive oil. Mix together until thoroughly coated


Step 4. Place in the oven for 25 minutes, giving the tray a small shake every 10 mins


Step 5. Once the chickpeas are cooked, immediately toss with spice combination of choice. Allow chickpeas to cool slightly, and store in an airtight container and enjoy xx
