PSA: No bake coconut rough slice with a healthy twist coming right up 🙌. I have it on good authority that this recipe is the perfect sweet treat 😏 and I cannot wait for you guys to try!
Ready In: 20mins
Makes: 15 pieces
Ingredients:
3 cups desiccated coconut
13 large seedless medjool dates
1/4 cup cacao or cocoa powder
1 tbsp rice malt syrup
1 tbsp coconut milk or cream pinch of salt
1 cup dark cooking chocolate chips
Optional: 1 small tbsp of chocolate or caramel protein powder ( I used @tropeaka salted caramel)
Method:
Step 1. Place all ingredients except for the chocolate chips into processor and blend until mixture resembles a fine, sticky crumb
Step 2. Firmly press the mixture into the base of your prepared tin
Step 3. Melt chocolate chips in microwave and spread a thin later over your slice
Step 4. Place slice in the fridge to set
Step 5. Try not to eat all at once Notes: If you don’t have coconut milk or cream you could use water. Additionally, rice malt syrup can be swapped out for any other natural sticky sweetener of choice like maple syrup, honey etc ❤️ I have a code for @tropeaka if you want to try any of their stuff.
