Nuts About Choc Bites

To satisfy your sweet-tooth without being sickly, making these the perfect post dinner or afternoon treat!


Ready In: 15 mins Makes: 9 -18 pieces Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter of choice

  • 6 tbsp coconut oil, melted

  • 4 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup rice malt syrup

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup almond slivers

  • 1/2 cup cashews



Method:


Step 1. Grease baking tray or line with baking paper


Step 2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth

Step 3. Pour the mixture into the base of your prepared tin

Step 4. Place slice in the fridge to set

Step 5. Cut into pieces and enjoy

Notes: Feel free to swap the peanut butter with almond butter and you can use natural maple syrup or honey instead of rice malt syrup. Finally, If you’re not a fan of the nuts I’ve used feel free to swap them out for your own combination.
