This 10-min Custard Toast

This 10-min Custard Toast is an easy breakfast you can make in the air fryer or oven.


Topped with fresh berries and a 3-ingredient custard, every bite is buttery, sweet, and tangy. This recipe has gone viral for good reason!



Ingredients

  • 1 cup yoghurt

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp natural maple syrup


Method (Air Fryer)

Step 1. In a small bowl whisk together the yoghurt maple syrup and egg


Step 2. Use a spoon to press the centers of sliced bread to create a well for the custard


Step 3. Spoon the custard into each well and then top with sliced berries


Step 4. Cook for 10mins at 190C in air fryer


Step 5. Remove and sprinkle with powdered sugar an extra drizzle of maple syrup. Serve with extra fruit


OVEN: place the toast on a lined baking sheet and bake in 200C oven for 10 to 15 mins!


And don’t have to top your toast with berries! Instead, add any of these yummy topping alternatives:

  • Sliced peaches

  • Blackberries

  • Raspberries

  • Choc chips

  • Sprinkles

  • Nectarines

  • Grated white chocolate

  • Hundreds of thousands


Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warm and toasty.
