Easy Air-fryer Beef Kofta Skewers


Juicy, flavour-packed, and ready in just 30 minutes, these Easy Beef Kofta Skewers are a weeknight winner. Made with simple pantry staples and cooked to perfection in the air fryer, they’re delicious served with Lebanese bread, salad, or rice for a meal the whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 500-600g beef mince

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (if you don’t have a food processor)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3/4 cup fresh parsley, Finley chopped (if you don’t have a food processor)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp pimento

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • Olive oil


Method

Step 1. In a large bowl, combine the beef mince, garlic, onion and parsley. Mix well with your hands until all ingredients are evenly combined. Otherwise toss all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until combined. Add pimento, black pepper, and salt and mix until well combined.


Step 2. Divide the mixture into 8-12 equal portions. Wet your hands with a little water to prevent sticking, then shape each portion into a sausage-like log. Thread onto skewers and press firmly to tidy the shape.


Step 3. Lightly spray the koftas with olive oil, then arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed). Air fry at 190°C for 10-12 minutes, turning once halfway through.


Step 4. Remove and let rest for 1 minute before serving. Enjoy with flatbread, salad, rice, or a garlic yoghurt dip!
